About Psycho's 'Lost In The Sauce'

The blog got a chance to talk to one of the biggest artistes in the capital city, Psycho and asked a few questions about his new record, LOST IN THE SAUCE. In this short interview he shared what's the tape about, how he got Abuja's finest to jump on this and which was his favorite to record.Read the interview below.

Let's start with what's this tape about?
Firstly, it's an EP which usually has fewer songs than a mixtape. I was basically just trying to let people know that different vibes can be created for people without the whole Afro beat movement

Most artists sing on afrobeats type of beat but your sound is different. What would you describe your sound as?
Hip - Hop / Trap

What was your inspiration to make this
Nothing really. I've been doing music for a while and I haven't dropped a project

What do you mean by lost in the sauce?
It basically means letting the music take over

Who produced the tracks on here?!
David Meli
Kuddi
Johnson
YF

What does the album art reflect the tape
It has no meaning at all. My art plug @officialkuddi is just too good.

How'd you get some of the best artists in Abj to come collaboration on this tape with you?!
It's all love from artists in the capital right now. They all went with the vibe once I hit them up
Lol that's how we all fell. Too much love in the capital

Which song did you really have a good time to make? Describe the whole process.
Plug.
Recorded that in like an hour with Zilla

How do you feel about how the tape has done so far
It's been lit. More than 6000 plays all together so far. That's crazy. Just been a day and a half

Anything you have to say to everyone that supported the tape?
I just want to thank everyone who supported me their love has been too real

I hope this threw a little light on the tape and how it was made. Psycho is really happy on how this turned out and how well it's doing. Thanks for reading.
